God’s Hand versus Technology

In these times, our lives are greatly impacted by today’s technology. Everything we do is somehow associated with computers: bank accounts, television, dinner recipes, baking, how tos, directions, education, and time. Technolgy has also been incorporated as a big part of our medical field. Today we are able to login to a mychart app and view medical records, test results, and upcoming appointments that are established by our health care providers. Another popularity is the bus tracker app. I appreciate being able to track the next bus or pull up directions from my smart phone. It helps my day run smoother and better while recycling unwasted time for that which i can wisely use time. Being a new author, It is amazing knowing that i can write my next book from my tablet, laptop, or desktop; I type faster than i write, so having the capability to do something people were not able to so many years ago is exciting. In this day and time, our generation is blessed. With time, we have gained so much knowledge that has lead us to enhance our businesses and way of life. There are so many things i can rely on technology for, and there are things i cannot; like answering a question that i can only find when i seek God. Somethings have to come by seeking the Lord through faith. Not everything can be scientifically proven. There are times when science will fail to deliver what is true because we must know God is the creator of the universe, “not the big bang theory”. I appreciate scientist, and i understand their level of intelligence comes from God, but their studies will not replace who God is nor his glory from creation, if anything it will draw them to the truth of knowing there is a God. In saying this i want you to know if God has given you a promise, believe him. The test result does not replace the promise. Believe in what he promised you. Let what he has already shown you be the end result because in this he is going to get the Glory. You are right were you should be. God is going to use your testimony to set many free. We know that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1). Believe what you know to be true based on the word of God, and let his promise birth new life.

Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring- not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. Romans 4:16
